Egypt is emerging as one of the region’s most significant digital growth markets, with AI, cloud, digital government, fintech, connected infrastructure and data-driven services accelerating enterprise transformation. The global industrial cybersecurity market is projected to reach USD 135.11 billion by 2029, growing at 9.8% CAGR, while Egypt’s cybersecurity market is estimated at USD 842.2 million in 2025 and projected to reach USD 1.2457 billion by 2030, at 8.1% CAGR. As organisations across BFSI, government, energy, manufacturing, healthcare, IT and telecom expand their digital footprint, demand is rising for advanced cyber resilience, cloud security, identity protection, OT security, data protection and threat intelligence.

This momentum is reinforced by Egypt’s National Cybersecurity Strategy 2023–2027, national critical-information-infrastructure protection initiatives, EG-CERT, and the National AI Strategy 2025–2030, which places responsible AI, innovation and digital transformation at the heart of Egypt’s future economy. With an AI Ethics Charter, 56 implementation performance indicators, the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, and EGP 13 billion allocated to ICT development for 2025/26, cybersecurity is rapidly moving from a technology function to a board-level business imperative.

Against this backdrop, the 36th Global and 4th CyberX Egypt Summit & Awards 2027, taking place in Cairo on 23 March 2027, will convene senior government officials, CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, technology and risk leaders, digital transformation executives and critical-infrastructure decision-makers. The summit will provide a premium platform for industry leaders and technology providers to engage with Egypt’s evolving cybersecurity ecosystem, showcase solutions and expertise, build strategic relationships and influence the next wave of enterprise security investment across the market.
